If you're an aficionado of open wheel racing in North America, you will recognize the name Mike Levitt. His work is often featured in open wheel racing magazines and publications worldwide
Levitt has been shooting motorsports since 1982 when he was working with ABC. He got credentials to shoot the Detroit Grand Prix and he's been on the move ever since. In 1993 Mike made the commitment to follow the ChampCar circuit. It was a natural progression for Mike to include shooting the Indy Racing League with its inception in 1994.
From 1997 to 1999, Levitt was the director of the Sutton USA photo agency. Since leaving Sutton, Mike has gone on to head up LAT USA, one of the leading motorsports photo agencies in the world.
But to be sure, it is Mike's work, not his position, that has elevated his status to one of the most sought after shooters in motor racing today.
